Using the Chaboche model, the cyclic plasticity and viscoplasticity behaviors of 30Cr1Mo1V steel were described. By experiment, the fatigue and stress relaxation data of 30Cr1Mo1V steel under different stress levels were obtained. According to the experimental data, the parameters of the Chaboche model were obtained gradually. The user subroutine UserMat of the Chaboche model is linked into ANSYS software to simulate the fatigue and creepage behaviors of the material. The result shows that the user subroutine can reflect mechanical behavior of the material well, which provides theoretical foundation for study on fatigue and creepage interaction using the Chaboche model.

The structure of the diversion tunnel, which is a typical underground engineering, is complex; and the geology condition of the tunnel is various. Therefore, it is cannot reflect the combined force characteristics of the lining structure and the surrounding rock completely by means of the traditional structure calculation method. Taking the diversion tunnel of the Lizhou Hydropower Station as example, using the finiteelement numerical simulation method, the stability of the tunnel surrounding rock and the force characteristics of the structure were researched. The problems existing in traditional algorism were solved well. The method of this paper can be used as reference for calculation of similar projects.

Aiming at too high temperature rise of the magneticlevitation bearing device of the hydraulic turbinegenerator unit caused by poor ventilation, a solution to set up certain amount of vents was presented. Using the finiteelement analysis software ANSYS, the simulation analysis on the temperature field and the magnetic field was carried out. The results show that to set up the vents can reduce the temperature of coil of the magneticlevitation bearing device greatly, and the temperature rise requirement of the system can be satisfied.

The neutral point of the generator often grounded through a blowout coil. In system operation process of a power plant, the highvoltage fuse of potential transformer may blow and make negative influence on the system sometimes. The operation features of the power plants were analyzed ,in which the neutral point of the generator is grounded through a blowout coil,and it is an important reason that the drift voltage of the neutral point will be amplified by the blowout coil. A preventive scheme was proposed, in which a resistor is connected in series with the blowout coil to restrain the amplifying effect of the drift voltage of the neutral point and to prevent the PT fuse blow; an electronic switch is connected in parallel with the resistor to control the resistor. Taking a hydropower plant as example, the effectiveness of this scheme was verified.

The intelligentization of the gas insulated switchgear (GIS) is an important aspect for intelligent substation system. Starting from the practicability, aiming at the current technical development level and the user acceptance, the problems existing in the design of the GIS control circuit, the online monitoring, the electronic instrument transformer and the control cabinet scheme were expounded. The performance and reliability of the control circuit were improved by using of the unified design of the mechanism box and the intelligent terminal. Considering the feasibility of engineering implementation, an integrative online monitoring scheme was put forward. It is pointed out that in order to apply the new technology and the new method, the relative test instructions and calibration methods should be amended to adapt to the needs of technology development.

The reason of too large synchronous error occurred in operation of the radial gate of the floatage drains of a hydropower plant was analyzed. Using the beforehand given deviation compensation of the opening, the load deviation value was decreased. For the radial gate with dual lifting point, which has better rigidity, the rigid synchronous loop or load balance control mode should be adopted; and the cylindrical hinge or cone hinge should be used as supporting hinge. Thus, the too large synchronous error will be controlled more easily.

The 2×330MW cogeneration unit of a power plant was taken as research object. The key technical problems about the selection of the pipe lowing scheme of the unit, the pipe blowing process flow and the matters needing attention in pipe blowing process were researched and analyzed. The practice shows that this task of pipe blowing had been accomplished successfully,and the expected effect was realized. At almost the same time interval of the past two years, the unit No.4 of a power plant tripped while there was no protection device acted. Aiming at the phenomenon, the fault report was checked; the trip circuit was inspected; the design paper was analyzed; and the simulated fault experiment was carried out. The reason of unit trip was determined finally that there was defect in the emergency lighting circuit, which caused the AC power source to intrude into the DC loop during switchover operation in fixed period and made a grounding fault of DC system, and the grounding fault caused the unit outlet switch to trip. The emergency lighting circuit had been improved; and the hidden danger of the AC power source intruding into DC loop was eliminated.

It was found that after the 500kV main transformer breaker failure protection acted, the function of intertrip of the switches in three sides of the main transformer can not be realized in the transmission debug process of a 500kV substation. The fault in this circuit was analyzed, and it was pointed out that the main reason of this fault is the design error which result the malfunction of the 500kV main transformer breaker failure protection to refuse to trip . A solution was proposed to avoid effectively refusing to trip and tripping improperly.

Aiming at the problems, which occurred in the desulphurization system of thermal power plant after its GGH was abolished, a solution proposed in this paper is to install a lowtemperature flue gas heat recovery device. The problems existing in present desulphurization systems can be solved including the waste of flue gas heat, the higher water consumption of the wet desulphurization, the unsafe operation of the wet smoke stack after desulphurization and others. In addition, using this solution, the power generation efficiency can be increased by about 0.3% or the lowquality heat equivalent to 4% of generated electricity can be recovered.

In the west region of Inner Mongolia, at night, the ongrid energy of wind farms is limited to smaller value by the power grid; and this is one of problems needing to be solved imminently; and at present, the research emphasis in wind power industry is how to increase the ongrid energy of the wind farms at night. From the point of view of several ways,increasing the night load was considered as selectable measure and was analyzed, and concrete method was put forward that is to use the heat storing electric boiler to store heat energy at night,the stored heat can be used for heat supply in daylight. The purposes of prolonging the available work hours on the network by wind farm and increasing the efficiency of green power were achieved.
