    Computerization model for converting offline dew point of generator into hydrogen pressure dew point and its optimization

    The method to calculate the dew point of generator under its operation hydrogen pressure by using its offline dew point data was introduced. The formula was established in the software Excel table. The calculation result can be displayed in the table as soon as the data was input into the table. The repeatedly table lookup and calculating processes, which is recommended in the file DL/T 651—1998 “ Requirements for hydrogen humidity of generators using hydrogen as a coolant ”appendix A, can be avoided. The calculation scope can be extended to calculate the absolute humidity and the relative humidity of the hydrogen; and the result can be optimized into monthly report, which is convenient for statistics.

    The measured value of the clearance of generator sealing bush will change due to the variation of the environment temperature. Based on theoretical analysis, a calculating method for correcting the radial clearance value was put forward. By using this method, the error existed in measurement process can be decreased further. This method is active function for increase the measurement accuracy and ensuring safe and economical operation of the equipment.

    In 2×600MW hydrogencooled unit of Huaneng Tongchuan Power Plant, the singlering seal oil system is adopted. In this system, the phenomenon of oil hammer, which is similar to the water hammer, occurred many times; and large fluctuation of the outlet pressure of seal oil pump and the pressure difference of oil and hydrogen occurred in the same frequency. The reasons of the faults were analyzed; and some improvement measures were put forward.

    The incorrect tripping accident of the excitationloss protection section III for the generator was occurred frequently. The reasons of the incorrect tripping of the excitationloss protection section III of the generator were analyzed. According the analysis, the reason of the incorrect tripping of excitationloss protection is that the operation mode of the unit primary system had been changed, but the binary input connection of excitation loss protection section III did not be modified relevantly. The measures to prevent incorrect tripping of excitationloss protection were put forward, which are helpful for ensuring the safe operation of the devices.

    Aiming at the mode mixing problem, which is exists in the vibration signal fault detection for transformer onload tap changer (OLTC) using HilbertHuang transform (HHT) based on empirical mode decomposition (EMD), the ensemble empirical mode decomposition (EEMD) method was put forward; and the mode mixing problem of EMD had been proved effectively. Based on the EEDM, the vibration signal can be HilbertHuang transformed; the marginal spectrum can be drawn from the HHT result; then the detection of the contacts loosening fault can be realized. The simulation and practical experiment show that to use this method in analysis of vibration signal of the tap changer can draw the values of the fault characteristic parameters effectively; and this is useful for contacts fault diagnosis.

    Due to the influence of the temperature, the excitation level and other instability factors on the frequency of the clock oscillator, it is difficult to avoid the error of the system clock. Because of the complexity of the program, this influence is continuous and random; and it is difficult to eliminate this influence in short time. A realistic corrective method for the accumulative error of analog clock of SOE module in DCS was put forward and analyzed in detail. The method can reduce the accumulative error and enhance the accuracy significantly.

    The mechanism of blockage of GGH was introduced. The reformation method of GGH steam purge system of Wangting Power Plant was analyzed. The effect of the reformation was evaluated. It was proved that to increase the steam purge temperature and to use the upper and bottom soot blowers simultaneously can improve the blockage of GGH obviously, which can be used as reference for improvement of GGH blockage.

The current situation of automatic control of the supercritical unit was analyzed. Aiming at automatic adjustment of main steam temperature, some improvement suggestions were put forward, which causes the control of main steam temperature to be more fast and accurate, and the operation reliability and safety of the supercritical unit were increased.

    During overhaul of steam turbine No.2 of a power plant, it was found that there is an about 35mm surface crack in sixth stage diaphragm of the lowpressure cylinder, which influences on unit safe operation directly. According to comprehensive analysis of the material of the diaphragm, it was decided to repair the defect by dig grinding and patch weld, and to adopt the cold welding method for the patch weld. The patch weld process, the preparing work, the preventive measures and the inspect method were introduced. The repaired diaphragm had operated for an overhaul period, and there was not new defect occurred in the patch welded position. This shows that the patch weld technology can ensure safe operation of the repaired diaphragm completely.

    After the continuous electrodeionization modules of Huaneng Henan Zhongyuan Gas Power Generation Company Limited operated for 4 years, the resistivity of the produced water decreased to 5MΩ·cm, and the mass concentration of SiO2 in the produced water increased to 120μg/L, so the produced water can not meet the production requirement already. Using the mixed liquids of 1.8%HCl,1.0%NaOH and 5.0%NaCl, the electrodeionization modules were cleaned respectively. Through debugging for several days, the function of the modules returned to normal; and the resistivity of produced water of the electrodeionization modules No.1 and No.2 increased to 18.26MΩ·cm and 17.30MΩ·cm respectively, which are very ideal results.

    The faults of the electric actuators used in Baotou Power Generation Branch of Huadian Inner Mongolia Energy Company Limited were occurred frequently, which reduce the equipment reliability greatly; and the optimal control effect can not be obtained. The electric actuators for the inlet gas baffle of air preheater, the electric actuators for the attemperating water adjusting valve of the boiler superheater and the electric actuators for the butterfly valve of water circulating system all were transformed into split type electric actuators. The reliability of the reformed electric actuators was increased greatly; the hidden danger of the equipments was eliminated thoroughly; the maintenance cost was decreased; and the favorable effect was obtained.

    The reason of flameout of the 300MW tower type boiler in Yaomeng Power Generation Company Limited was analyzed. Based on the coldstate kinetic field experiment and targeted combustion adjustment experiment, the origin of the problem was found. According to the actual situation of the power plant, a rational operation adjustment scheme and preventive measures were put forward. The practical result shows that the boiler combustion condition was improved obviously, and the flameout fault does not occur again.

    The anticorrosion measures for boiler tail flue and other equipments of the 2×600MW unit project of Guizhou Huadian Tongzi Power Generation Company Limited were analyzed. Two schemes were put forward, one of which is to increase the outlet gas temperature and the other is to adopt professional anticorrosion measures. The investment and the cost of operation and maintenance of the two schemes were compared. The result shows that the better choice is to adopt professional anticorrosion measures for the boiler tail flue and other equipments, and to increase the outlet gas temperature is not recommended in this project.
