Through the dynamic test, the realization of automatic switchover from variable frequency operation to power frequency operation and automatic adjustment were expounded. The effects of variable frequency control, such as energy conservation and motor protection, were analyzed. By the variable frequency reformation of the three main fans, the house service consumption rate was greatly reduced, and better economical benefit was obtained.

The variable frequency reformation scheme for primary air fan and induced draft fan of CFB boiler in Yunnan Huadian Xunjiansi Power Generation Corporation Limited using highvoltage frequency converter with automatic bypass function was introduced. The modification of the control logic and the picture of DCS and the automatic control function optimization were expounded emphatically. After the variable frequency reformation of the primary air fan and the induced draft fan, the thermal control logic is perfect, the automatic control function can put into operation normally, the fan operation state can be switched over from variable frequency to power frequency or otherwise automatically. When the frequency converter is failure, the fan operation state will be switched over automatically to power frequency without turbulence and the unit load will not be impacted. The energy saving effect of the reformation is obvious.

The composition of the IGCC system was introduced. The selection of air separation process flow and the connection mode of air separation device with gas turbine system were expounded. Based on this, the influence of air separation unit integrated coefficient on the gas turbine and steam turbine was analyzed; and a mathematical model and calculation conditions were established. Under the calculation conditions, it was determined that the air separation unit integrated coefficient Xas=0.6 is the optimal extraction ratio of air compressor.

There are larger formal differences between current steam leakage calculation formulas for various diaphragm glands. There are problems of lower efficiency and higher coal consumption rate in the domestic introduced type 300MW steam turbine of Guangzhou Zhujiang Power Plant. The necessity of flow passage reformation for the 300MW introduced type domestic steam turbine was expounded. After reformation, the efficiency of HP cylinder achieves 83.02%; the efficiency of IP cylinder achieves 91.19%; the heat rate is 7990kJ/(kW·h); the gross standard coal consumption rate of the unit decreases by 12.4g/(kW·h); 18 thousands tons of standard coal can be saved in a year. The main control parameters of the steam turbine, the boiler, the generator and auxiliary equipments are all in specified ranges; and the economical efficiency and the safety of the unit are improved significantly.

The main type of current wind power generation units is the doublefed unit. The stator and the rotor of this type unit can feed out energy simultaneously; and this feature determines that the design of the main circuit and the device type selection for this type unit are more complex than that of other asynchronous or synchronous machine unit. The working principle of the main circuit of doublefed wind power generation unit was analyzed, and taking a 1.5MW doublefed unit as studying object, the typical design of the main circuit structure was given, and the electric circuit parameters of various parts of the main circuit were analyzed. Based on this, the device type selection scheme of various parts of the main circuit was recommended. The scheme was adopted in practical product manufacturing, and the desired effect was obtained.
