    Considering the special structure of space truss metal gate with large span for resisting the tide and discharging the flood in the Caoejiang River, an aging scheme was designed and implemented, in which the space truss metal gate first suffered the natural aging from solarization in the summers sun shine for 90 days; then, using the small tide of the Qiantangjiang River, the gate suffered the aging under static load to eliminate the residual stress. The residual stress was measured by the blind hole method, the residual stress eliminating effects of the natural aging and the static load aging were tracked. So the entire safe aging of the gate leaf was realized.

    A cooler was installed on the pipe between the condenser and the vacuum pump; and when the outlet temperature (air side) of the cooler can remain in about 15℃, the condenser vacuity could approach the limit vacuum of the vacuum pump. In the summer, after the cooler was put in operation, the condenser vacuity increased by 1.6%; and in winter, after the cooler was put in operation, the condenser vacuity increased by 0.57%. Adoption of the method has gotten favorable economical and social benefits. 

    In the first startup of the unit No.1 of the Anhui Huadian Suzhou Power Generation Corporation Limited, due to the operators had not sufficient experiences about the plasma oilfree ignition, the amplitude of the adjustment was overlarge, which leaded the variation of the parameters of the main steam was overlarge, and further caused the low pressure differential expansion to be larger and to cause tripping. The reasons of the tripping were analyzed; the adjustment method was improved, so the turbine rolling in the second startup of the unit was successful.

    Since the 600MW supercritical boiler of the Hubei Huadian Xiangfan Power Generation Corporation Limited was put into operation, the tube wall temperature of the final superheater often exceeded the alarm temperature at high boiler load, and the highest value was higher than 620℃. Some countermeasures were adopted, such as to adjust the horizontal swing angle and the updown swing angle of the SOFA burner, to adjust the opening of the air damper. Then in boiler operation with full load, the tube wall temperature of the final superheater can be controlled lower than the allowable temperature of 600℃.

    The caloric value of asreceived coal and that of asfired coal of China Huadian Fulaerji General Power Plant in the first quarter 2009 were compared, and the reasons caused the difference of caloric values of asreceived coal and asfired coal were analyzed. It was found that the main factor influencing on the difference of caloric values is coal moisture. The relevant measures were proposed, and the difference of caloric values of asreceived coal and asfired coal had been controlled in rational range. 

    The rationality of the technical water supply of the hydropower station buildings directly related to the safe operation of the unit and the economical benefit of the hydropower station. The main problems existing in the technical water supply system of the Fourth Cascade Hydropower Station of Huadian Yunnan Yilihe Hydropower Plant were analyzed. A reformation scheme was put forward, in which the water supply pump will be replaced by the variable frequency and constant pressure pump. The scheme can increase the operation reliability of the hydropower station remarkably and provide the good foundation for operation of the main equipments in the hydropower station.

    The designed coal of the 2020t/h of Huadian International Zouxian Power Plant project phase III is local soft coal. For the near term, the fired coal quality was changed greatly due to the insufficient coal supply. In a certain period after the coal grade was changed, the unstable boiler combustion was often occurred or the furnace negative pressure was rocked in largescale amplitude, and the temperature of main steam and reheated steam can not reach the required value; even the boiler flame out accident was happened. This became a serious potential hazard for stable and economical operation of unit. The reasons of this fault were analyzed. The relevant solution was proposed, and better result had been obtained.

    The problems occurred in 335MW turbine TSI system overhaul of Huadian International Zouxian Power Plant were analyzed. According to the practical situation, the matters needing attention and adjustment scheme, purpose of which is to enhance the TSI system stable operation performance, were put forward. According to this scheme, the adjustment values of TSI detectors were corrected, the requirement gap width of TSI system measurement probes were ensured, and the accuracy of the alarm value and the trip value set in TSI system was ensured too. Then the adjustment of TSI according to this scheme gave favorable effects.

    According to the information provided by the weather station of the area, in which a wind power plant locates, the essential factors of the wind energy were analyzed and neatened,and the revised data of the wind speed, the wind power density, the frequency of wind speed, the frequency of wind energy in the wind measuring tower were obtained. The analysis results show that the area is rich in wind energy resource, its number of hours of effective winds is larger, its wind direction is stable, the wind energy distribution is centralized, and the destructive wind speed is smaller, so the area is suitable to build the wind power plant.
