Using the state variable method, the fuzzy control technique and the intelligent feedforward compensation technique comprehensively, the reheat temperature control strategy was optimized, and the better effects were obtained in practical operation. 

    The heavy steam and water corrosion of low pressure flow passage of 1000MW turbogenerator set in Huadian International Zouxian Power Plant was found in first inspection overhaul. The material of low pressure flow passage and its operation condition were analyzed, and the condition of low pressure passage was compared with that of subcritical turbine low pressure passage made using same material and the corrosion was not occurred here. The reason of the corrosion was found, and relevant measures and suggestions were put forward.

    The air extraction tubes of highpressure condenser and lowpressure condenser in a unit were arranged in series mode, and this caused the extracted air of highpressure condenser to push aside the extracted air of lowpressure condenser. The air extraction of lowpressure condenser was not reached to the designed requirement; the vacuity of the lowpressure condenser was lower, and the difference between highpressure condenser and lowpressure condenser was also lower. Then the system economical efficiency was decreased. The air extraction system of twopressure condenser had been reformed by adopting some relevant measures, and obvious economical benefit was obtained. 

    The water treatment system and its structures of thermal power plant usually were arranged separately in accordance with the treatment units; the independent workshop, the control room and the operators and maintainers were configured for each unit. The concept of the water treating island means that the various systems of the thermal power plant should be optimized and organically integrated into the water treating island, and formed a water treatment area which will cover entire power plant. By using this area, the water supply according to different grades and different water quality will be realized, and the waste water will be recovered. It will be helpful for the target of energysaving and the emission reducing.

    Adopting the Apros 5.04 advanced procedure simulation support system, taking the feed water pipes network system of a thermal power plant as research object, through the modeling, which is based on the graphical configuration provided by the system, and the automatic simulation calculation, the model of the water feed pipe network was developed. The parameters calculated by using the model were analyzed; the operation characteristics of the water feed system was grasped; the power consumptions under different feed water pump combination were obtained, and its influence on the feed water flow distribution of the high pressure heater was determined; the optimized economical operation mode was realized. The realization of this project will greatly enhance the operation level of the feed water system of whole plant and the equipment monitoring level, will perfect the examination and the analysis of the economical index, and it is of important significance for the security and the economic efficiency of the units of whole plant. 

    The APA software has the capability of the nuclear piping stress analysis and assessment, and the ANSYS finite element analysis software has the capability of piping stress computation. Taking a nuclear piping system class 2 of a nuclear power plant as analysis model, the stress computations of various load condition were accomplished. According to the RCCM codes, the stress assess was carried out, and the maximum stress, the stress rate and the support reaction of each pipe supporter and hanger under static load and dynamic load were obtained.

    In Huaneng Jinghong Hydropower Station, during the transmission test of the 500kV GIS breaker before it was put into operation, it was found that there were some problems existed in closing circuit of the breaker. The parasitic circuit, which was caused in match of the operation mechanism of the breaker with antijump device and the protection device, and its hazards were analyzed briefly. The antijump function of the protection device and the internal antijump function of the operation mechanism were compared. A more rational improvement scheme was put forward, and the importance of the antijump function in the secondary circuit was pointed out.

    The two 150MW steam turbine units of Sichuan Huadian Panzhihua Sanwei Power Generation Corporation Limited were put in operation at 2005. Since then, the leakage fault of high pressure heater No.2 often occurred in operation. Up to the August 2007, the blind tube rate of No.11 and No.12 units reached 8% and 9% respectively, and this influenced on the safety and economical efficiency of the units badly. According to the fabrication, erection, debugging and actual operation of No.2 high pressure heater, the reason of leakage of No.2 high pressure heater was analyzed, and relevant solving measures were proposed. After effective rectification, the operation rate of No.11 and No.12 high pressure heaters were raised from previous 79.62% and 81.98% to present 99.32% and 98.43%, the safety and economical efficiency of the unit operation were raised.

Starting from the questionable point that the fault phenomenon was not accordance with the actual inspection, by using the vector diagram, according to the intuitive analysis, the fault process was determined that the opencircuit fault was occurred first, and then the shortcircuit fault occurred. By further analysis, the conclusion obtained that the protection action process was fully accordance with the field inspection result, and it is verified that the settings of stator earthfault protection is correct.

    The model of PV inverter and its control strategy were expounded. Various characteristics of interconnection with power grid were analyzed. The criterions for selecting the capacity and the form of the dynamic reactive compensator were determined. The output characteristics of the PV power station and the selection of its operation mode were discussed. The LVRT ability of the PV power station in abnormal situation of the power grid was studied; and the enhancement of LVRT ability of PV power station by the dynamic reactive compensator was studied too. It was considered according to the simulation analysis that the Huadian Jiayuguan PV power generation project is satisfied the conditions for interconnection with the power grid; the theoretical analysis and the simulation analysis for the project were more accurate, and the experience obtained during this project construction can be used as reference for future PV power station development. 
