    Aiming at the higher energy consumption and serious pipeline wear of pneumatic ash conveying system of large thermal power unit, the reasons were analyzed. According to the relation between the flow characteristics of gassolid twophase fluid and its stable transportation flow field, a novel multipump micro positive pressure dense phase pneumatic ash conveying system was designed. The system had been researched and tested in a 600MW unit, and the test result shows that the designed system can reduce the energy consumption and weaken the pipe wear.

    The CFB boiler combustion automaton control of Inner Mongolia Huadian Wuda Thermo Power Generation Corporation Limited was difficult to put in operation normally due to the complexity and the particularity of CFB boiler combustion. By using the control software CFB boiler combustion process optimal control system, the combustion automatic control for 480t/h level CFB boiler was realized.     The turbine rotor expansion of GE S109FA class singleshaft gas turbine unit was measured by dual sensor. In the MK VI control system, the rotor expansion measurement and calculation module was protected by three stages password, and this level password was not provided to users. This makes great troubles for thermal technician in maintenance of rotor expansion measurement system. By using collected various technical materials of rotor expansion measurement, combining with field installation and maintenance experiences, the working principle of the calculating module was extrapolated. The result can be used as reference for thermal technicians in installation, debug and location of rotor expansion measurement system of same type equipment.

    In order to prevent coking of boiler (mainly high temperature coking), it is necessary to keep higher primary air flow. But the surplus capacity of primary air fan selected by design institute may be too larger to cause larger house service consumption rate. Simultaneously, the application of the high pressure fan can cause larger airheater leakage factor. The house service consumption rate of large CFB unit is commonly about 10%, and this is main factor restricting largescalization of CFB unit. The air and flue gas system of boiler was optimized, some necessary reformation measures were adopted. Then the house service consumption rate had been reduced by 1.62%, and good result was obtained.

    The total length of shaft system of 1000MW ultra supercritical turbogenerator in Huadian International Zouxian Power Plant is 54.652m, and the stability of the shaft system had been tested by too large shaft length. In order to verify the stability of unit shaft system, the load dump test, the oil temperature changing test and the vacuum changing test were down and a series of test data was analyzed, and the stability of the unit shaft was ensured. The results provide reference for optimal design of turbogenerator shaft system.

    Good results have been obtained after reforming the pulverized coal system of #11 boiler in Wangting Power Plant. The maximum deviation of air and coal powder in deferent layer was less than ±10%, which is favorable for the balance of flue gas flow from two sides of furnace outlets, implementation of low NOx emission and steady combustion in boiler lowload. Now flue gas temperature deviations between two sides before hightemperature reheater are controlled in 15℃. No blockage in pulverized coal pipe, no overtemperature tubebursting and other bad phenomenon have been occurred until now, and unburned carbon content in the fly ash has decreased year by year.

    The problems occurred during commission and train run of 300MW CFB unit in Huaibei Linhuan Joinlion Power Generation Corporation Limited were introduced, which included the lower resistance of the air distributor, the easy jam of the bed lances, the damage of expansion joints of induct burner, the fault of the coal feeding system, the problems of adding bed material in coldstate experiment and slag leakage of external heat exchanger, and the jam of peat gun. The following ways were used to solve the abovementioned problems, such as strictly controlling the particle size distribution of coal, ventilating the bed lances with compressed air when they were stopped, cooling the expansion joints of induct burners by water, controlling the moisture content of coal in the lower range, installing tube below the wind chamber of external heat exchangers and manually adding water according to the outlet pressure of the peat guns. By the above means, the problems were solved.

    The unit of Shanxi Zhangshan Power Generation Corporation Limited operated in low load condition in long term, and the efficiency of its auxiliary was lower and the house service consumption rate was higher. Aiming this situation, an energy conservation operation experiment was accomplished, in which single feed pump, single primary induced/forced draft fan, two boiler circulation pumps and two mills were put into operation. The effective energysaving measures were adopted, and obvious energysaving effect was obtained.

    The oil leakage faults of combination bearing of two bulb tubulous turbines were occurred in Chaozhou Water Supply Project, and safety production of the two units had been influenced seriously.     The adding units of Wujiangdu Hydropower Plant were put in operation in 2004 in succession. It is first time found that the cracks were occurred in blades in overhaul period in 2007. The cracks were analyzed and treated, then the units were put in operation again, but the cracks were occurred frequently in some blades. In unit overhaul period in 2009, in the joint of trailing edge of blade and upper canopy of wheel blades of #1 hydraulic turbine, the angle steels were welded to enhance the strength. The dynamic balances of unit before and after the strength enhancing were compared and analyzed, and a basis for solving the problem of cracks in wheel blades was provided.
