    According to the specific type and statistics distribution characters of the pipe cracking faults of “4 pipes” of 1004t/h boiler in Jiangyou Power Plant occurred before the year 1998, combining the destruction forms of team scour, dust erosion, stress fracture, high temperature chemical corrosion and construction elements failures ahead of their lives, the analysis and summary for the factors of coal management, operation management, maintaining, overhauling, and external conditions, etc. which influent on the pipe cracking faults of boiler’s “4 pipes” were carried out, and the main causes were found out. Some directional and practical comprehensive countermeasures were proposed, the obvious results have been obtained. These are able to be the reference for treatments of the same type power units.

    The FGD system was not built in some operated power plant. Therefore, the connection between emergency load of FGD and power supply had not be considered in the design of those power plant, and this leads many difficulties for design of FGD emergency power supply in FGD reformation of those power plant. The design optimization process of FGD emergency power supply for 2×330MW units in Hubei Xisaishan Power Generation Corporation Limited was analyzed. The optimization provides a thought for emergency power supply design of FGD reformation in operated power plant, and this solution can be used as reference for similar project.

    The hydrogenerator unit No.2 of Qinshan Hydropower Station has commissioned for 1 year, while the machine rotated slightly again after it had been shut off and the air brake had been reverted. This may lead to failure of thrust-bearing because of low speed. By inspecting, it was found that the guide vans’s perpendicular surface, i.e. waterproof surface, was cavitated badly, so the unit was hard to shut down. After analyzing this problem, the methods of resurfacing welding for the cavitated area and then burnishing were implemented. The operation has proved that: the disposal effect is preferable, and the unit’s safety and stability in operation are insured.

By using the OPC communication technologies, we can establish the link between the intelligent control system and process database, to complete neural network online identification system model.     In the two 1000MW ultrasupercritical units of a certain power plant project phase I, the P92 steel ID 349mm×72mm main steam pipe was adopted. The operation safety and life of this thin walled pipe attracted a lot of attention. With the help of fullload spectrogram of actual pipe damage obtained from the constructed condition monitoring and life safety management system, aiming at the laws of two material creep damage conventional longtime strength and lower boundary longtime strength, considering two wall thickness thin wall and thick wall, the operation safety and expected service life of P92 steel main steam pipe under the conditions of several combinations were analyzed and researched.

    Coal pulverizing system is an essential part of coalfired power plant. The power consumption of this system is comparatively high. It even reaches to 20% of service power for pulverizing system with ball mill and intermediate silo. It is a historic problem to perplex power plant that how to decrease the unit consumption of coal pulverizing and the service power, and heighten the economic benefit of plant. This thesis gave the analysis for optimized way of pulverizing system with intermediate silo, and some concrete measures & suggestions base on the problems of this system in Jiaozuo Wanfang Power Corporation Limited. The unit consumption of the pulverizing system has decreased 12%~17% after the measures & suggestions were implemented in 2008.

    The problem of ash and slag with high water content has existed since the No.1 boiler of The Mine Mouth Power Plant of Pingdingshan Coal Group Corporation Limited was put in operation, it was occurred quite often that the chainbucket conveyor and bucket elevator were stuck and plugged by ash. After analysis, the following reformation methods were proposed: parching the ash and slag to remove the water, then transmitting them to the chainbucket conveyor and bucket elevator through a conveyor, and finally entering into the storage silo. The application of these reformation methods has decreased intensity of work and gotten obviously economical effects.

    In commission of Unit No.22 of Three Gorges Right Bank Hydropower Station, the volute shaped disk drain valve joystick has broken. The joystick has to be repaired for it is impossible to be replaced. According to careful study and comparison, the tungsten argon arc welding technology and mechanical workout were adopted finally for the repair. The concrete processing scheme and the result were analyzed and summarized, and relevant proposal for the handling of future same problem was given. After the repair, the joystick can meet the technical requirements of highprecision for slender piece.
