    Abstract:Taking the 300MW turbine generator set of Huadian Xiangyang Power Generation Company Limited as example, the potential safety hazard of abnormal operation of sealing oil system during the unit startup, shutdown and normal operation caused by operation, maintenance, oil quality, oil temperature and other reasons was analyzed. Relevant countermeasures were put forward, which are helpful to ensure safe, economical and stable operation of the power plant.

    Abstract:Aiming at the problems of larger steam leakage and lower reliability of the steam seal of a 300MW domestic unit, according to analysis on the structure characteristics of current steam seal and the existed problems before the seal reformation, the turbine seal reformation scheme and the reformation measures were put forward. After the seal had been reformed, the steam leakage of the high and middle pressure cylinder, the steam leakage in the end of the turbine and the interstage steam leakage were reduced; the physical work capacity of the steam and the relative inner efficiency were increased. The thermal economic efficiency of the unit was improved.

    Abstract:The navigation mode of current inspection robot for substation was studied. An encoder/inertia trackless navigation system, in which the stm32 is used as core, was developed, and the software design and hardware design were all completed. The Kalman filter inertial guidance algorithm, the closedloop speed measurement and PID speed control algorithm were adopted. By using the navigation mode, the navigation precision of the system was improved, and the construction period and the construction cost of the substation were reduced, which make the inspection robot to have better application value and market prospect.

    Abstract:The soot blower is an important device for ensuring stable operation of boiler, improving the thermal efficiency of the boiler, saving the energy and reducing the atmospheric pollutant emission. The performance and the applicable place of the soot blower were introduced. The formation mechanisms of the ash, the slag and the coke on the surface of the heat exchangers of different zones in the boiler and the structure features were analyzed. The boiler soot blowers were sorted, and their advantages and disadvantages were compared. The conclusion is that the frequency adjustable power sound wave soot blower has obvious functions to remove the ash, the slag and the coke.

    Abstract:Taking N315-16.7/538/538 unit as example, the organic working medium cycle was added into thermal circulation system of thermal power unit, and a new power generation model was established. Based on the combination of the water steam circulation module and the organic working medium circulation module, the thermal economic efficiency calculations for different designed conditions were carried out. The result show that the optimal model can reduce the heat loss of the unit cold end and the waste heat pollution, and the unit thermal economic efficiency can be improved.

    Abstract:The RET316 type transformer differential protection device manufactured by ABB was introduced. An incorrect tripping of the transformer differential protection occurred in the voltage rising process of a unit in Huadian International Zouxian Power Plant. Taking this accident as example, the reasons of incorrect tripping of the ABBmade RET316 scalar product braking type transformer differential protection in overexcitation were analyzed comprehensively. It was determined that the overexcitation is the main reason causing the transformer differential protection to trip incorrectly. The effective measures were adopted, and similar accident dos not occur again.

    Abstract:The generator rotor grounding protection of unit No.4 in a power plant is based on the principle of PingPang type switchover protection. The rotor singlepoint grounding fault of the unit was analyzed, and it was determined that the reason of the fault is to change the protection output mode blindly. It was pointed out finally that for the devices based on the principle of PingPang type switchover protection, it is necessary to avoid turn on the switches of the rotor voltage circuit in multiple devices simultaneously; else the mutual interference may occur between the devices and cause the incorrect trip of the protection.

The calculation method of eccentricity of the foundation resultant force action point given in file FD 003—2007 “Design regulations on subgrade and foundation for wind turbine generator system” was expounded. Based on this, the two calculation results of the quantity of the reinforcement for the foundation column by the wind turbine generator tower subgrade and foundation design software were analyzed. The conclusion is that the quantity of the reinforcement for the foundation column of the wind turbine tower must be calculated by the amended eccentricity pressure formula.
