    Abstract:Taking the second air control system of a 300MW unit boiler of Huadian International Laicheng Power Plant as example, aiming at the requirement of lowNOx combustion, the system was optimized. According to the problems occurred in operation process, the actuator of second air valve was reformed, and the control strategy of the reformed second air valve control system was adjusted. The result in this paper can be used as reference for lowNOx combustion reformation of similar unit.

    Abstract:The steam pressure, temperature and other parameters of the outlet steam of the platen superheater, the exhaust steam of the highpressure cylinder, the outlet steam of the lowtemperature reheater and the first extraction of the turbine were analyzed and compared. Based on this, the rational steam source selection modes for soot blower of the subcritical, supercritical and ultra supercritical unit were introduced. The economic efficiency of different selection modes was analyzed quantitatively. Combining with the practical operation situations of multiple domestic units, by means of rational selection of steam source for soot blower, the purpose of energy conservation was achieved.

    Abstract:Taking the supercritical opposed firing once through boiler of Shanxi Xingneng Power Generation Company Limited as example, the forming process of hightemperature sulfur corrosion of water wall was described. The advantages of the supersonic electric arc spraying coating on prevention of hightemperature corrosion were put forward. The technology of supersonic electric arc spraying and the characteristics of the coating were introduced. The arc spraying on the boiler water wall was accomplished, and the wearresisting and corrosion resistance performance of the tube surface of the water wall were improved.

    Abstract:In some dualserver hot standby system, due to that the system operated for too long time or the equipments are aged, when one server of the two servers is stopped, the other key server has to operate individually, and the risk of system function failure is increased greatly. A new scheme was proposed, in which a cold standby server is configured for the key server of the system, and a coldhot mixed standby system is formed. Data show that the scheme can shorten the server alone operation time during a server failure, the risk can be reduced effectively, and the dispatching automation system can operate
     more safely and stably.

    Abstract:Aiming at the situation of operation records in iFIX configuration software, using the Microsoft VBA development environment integrated inside iFIX, a operation record subroutine had been developed. The call of the operation record subroutine in iFIX configuration software and implementation of the operation record query were introduced. The practical application result shows that by the operation record, the operation process of the operators can be recorded exactly and completely, which provides powerful evidence for accident analyzers and managers to find the accident origin and to judge incorrect operation or other accident reasons.

    Abstract:A higher interlayertemperature fault of stator coil bar of a large turbogenerator was introduced. It was found by analysis that the reason of higher interlayertemperature is the blockage of the stator coil bar. The composition of the blockages and the reason of the blockage were analyzed. The method to clean the stator cooling water system was put forward. After cleaning, the maximum deviation of the interlayertemperature is 2℃, and the fault was eliminated.

    Abstract:To select the balancing device is an important link for multistage pump design. In a nuclear power project, eccentric abrasion of the balancing plate occurred after performance test of the starting feed pump. The reasons of the abrasion were analyzed. Some measures were adopted to improve the assembling precision. Then the performance test was carried out again, and the abrasion of the balancing plate did not occur again. The normal operation of the pump set was ensured.

    Abstract:The reasons of higher temperature at bearing bush No.2 of the 350MW unit in a power plant were analyzed. The key factors influencing on the temperature of tilting bearing bush were expounded. Some measures were adopted, which include to adjust the load distribution of the bearing bushes, to select the oil gap of bearings rationally, to scrape the input and output oil wedges of the tilting bearing bushes and others. The temperature of the bearing bush lowered obviously, and the safe operation of the unit is ensured.

    Abstract:The conventional calculation method of coal consumption for heat supply of cogeneration unit was introduced. Using the heat balance block diagram, the commonused heat for heat supply and power generation was found, which is the heat consumption in combined heat and power generation and does not be shared in the heat supply ratio calculation formula. The amendment of heat supply ratio calculation formula was proposed, which can be used as reference for calculation of coal consumption for heat supply.

    Abstract:Taking the 600MW directfired boiler of Huadian Sichuan Guang’an Power Generation Company Limited as example, a calculation method was analyzed. In the method, the realtime production data supervisory system and the computation function of the Excel spreadsheet are used to predict the supportable time of each blended kind of existing asfired coal for the boiler combustion accurately. Which is helpful to save highquality coal and to reduce the load loss during load peak period,the computation result can provide guidance for the fuel coal blending and the combustion adjustment.

    Abstract:The function of transformer balance winding was introduced. An infrequent short circuit fault of transformer balance winding was introduced. The transformer is installed in an aircooled power plant and connected in mode of Yyn0+d, and the short circuit fault of its balance winding had caused the differential protection to trip. A new fast method was adopted for transformation and calculation of first and second currents of the transformer. The fault position can be determined correctly by the new method, which provides a base for the fault treatment.

    Abstract:The working principle of the reactive current compensation link in generator excitation system was introduced. The problems occurred in reactive power distribution between the parallel operating generators were analyzed. The reason of reactive power shock on the five generators of Goupitan Hydropower Station caused by different settings of their reactive current compensation coefficients and adopted countermeasures were expounded.     Abstract:In a power plant in Beijing, because of the influence of the high dust content in air, the haze and sand storm, the air inflow filtering system of the gas turbine was clogged for shorter working time, and the pressure difference of the filter increased, which caused the unit to reduce the load or shut down. The existing problems were analyzed. The reformation scheme was put forward. After the air inflow filtering system had been reformed, the safety and stability of unit operation were improved.

    Abstract:The incoming coal of a power plant is complex and variable, and the quality of the incoming coal is far deviated from the designed value, which causes the mass fraction of combustibles in fly ash of the boiler to staying at a high level. Some measures were adopted, which includes to normalize the coal blending management, to adjust the air distribution of the HTNR3 swirl pulverized coal burner according to different coal type and to control the first air speed for blind coal, and when a third of incoming coal is blind coal and twothirds are bituminous coal, the mass fraction of combustibles in fly ash of the boiler can be controlled at about three percents.

    Abstract:Using the computational fluid dynamics software Fluent, the numerical simulation of Spain solar chimney power generation system Manzanares was accomplished. The distribution of the temperature field, the pressure field and the velocity field inside the solar chimney power generation system were obtained, and the available generation power was calculated. Using the orthogonal experiment, combining with the result of numerical simulation, the influence of different factors in the solar chimney power generation system on the system performance was analyzed, and the optimum combination of structural parameters of the system were obtained.
