    Abstract:The economic efficiency of nuclear power is associated with its security. The AP1000 was compared with typical nuclear power plants in operation,and it was found that the AP1000 thechnology has higher security and lower economic efficiency. It is wrong to neglect security for economic efficiency,and it is also wrong to reduce economic efficiency for higher security. The key to get higher economic efficiency is independent intellectual property rights of designing and making of the major equipments. In addition,the standardization and larger quantities of AP1000 construction are useful for higher economic eficiency. It is also need to pay more attention on combining the passive technology with the active technology.

    Abstract:Taking the units No. 1 and No. 2 of Ling ao Nuclear Power Plant phase I as examples, the problems, which existed in operation of ALSTOM TYPE7 system used in steam turbine supervisory system, were analyzed.Using MMS6000 system manufactured by epro GmbH, the steam turbine supervisory system was retrofited, and the signal channels were optimized. The stability and reliability of the system were improved.

    Abstract:Basic information of the circulating water system of a nuclear power unit was introduced. Based on analysis, it was pointed out that there is not pressure water injecton design in this system, and due to influence of tide levelthe unit startup may be delayed. The pipeline of circulating water and related equipments were analyzed, and a priliminary thermodynamic estimation was carried out. Based on these,the pressure water injection of the circulating water pipeline was proposed, and a method of small flow circulation during downtime was given.

    Abstract:The pipes of the finishing superheater and the reheater of the boiler of a power plant were investigated experimentally.The pipe samples were obtained in different time periods under different oxygenation treatment modes. The experimental methods includes the microstructure analysis,the grain size measurement, the inner wall oxide layer metallographic analysis and the scanning electron microscope ( SEM) analysisand Xray energy dispersive spectrometer ( EDS) analysis for typical inner wall oxide layer structure.The results show that the feedwater oxygenatin treatment can acilitate forming of Fe2O3 outer shell of oxyde layer in pipe inner wall.The sample tubes of the finalstage reheater of a boiler were oxygenated most seriously, the percentage of the sample tubes,in which there was not the fine grain zone in inner wall, is larger. In the inner wall of the sample tubes,the uniform and continous Crrich layer did not formed, and this is one of the main reasons caused the oxide skin to shed concentratedly.The feedwater oxygenation treatment is a factor to promote the oxyde skin to shed.

    Abstract:In domestic thermal power plants, there always were problems of excessive equipment maintenance and insufficient equipment maintenance.The precision inspection system of China Huadian Corporation was introduced. In the system, five technologies, the vibration analysis, the infrared analysis,the ultrasound analysis, the oil analysis and the motor current analysis,were combined to grasp the equipment operation situation all sidedly and exactly.The application of the system in power plantsshows that large amount of equipment defects were found and eliminated by the precision inspection.The equipment emergency repair was reduced greatly, and the unit load reducing operation and unplanned shutdown incidents were avoided repeatedly.Theequipment management level of thermal power plant was raised effectively.

    Abstract:A fault record file analysis method was introduced. In the method, the modern simulation software MATLAB and PSCAD were combined to analyze the fault record file based on COMTRADEformat to obtain the original data of relay protection devices during power equipment fault.     Abstract:In order to improve the adaptability of thermal power unit to coal grades, the origional coordinate control system of the unit was optimized and adjusted.The advanced coal quality forecast control strategy was adopted to amend the coal quality. At the same time, the temperature control of the main steam and the logic parameters were optimized.After optimization, the unit can suit to coal grade variation, and the main parameters were controlled in beter level. The safe and stable operation of the unit was ensured.

    Abstract:There are exacting requirements about the fuel to feed water ratio and the fuel to air flow ratio for the oncethrough boiler. In its control logic,the crossing restriction circuit may be added to prevent sharp variation of main steam temperature and reheat steam temperature and to prevent instable combustion.The functions of the crossing restriction in control logic were introduced. The reasons of lower limit action of fuelfeed water crosing restriction were analized. Some measures,such as to adopt BTU loop in control logic to amend the total fuel amount and to count the capacity air flow of the mills into the fuel amount timelapse and stepped during mill startup and shutdown,were proposed.

    Abstract: In steam turbine overhaul duration, the steam seal clearance was measured by medical rubberized fabric or lead wire,and the problems existed in the two methods were introduced. The features of the dummy shaft measuring method and the regulus lead measuring method were analyzed,and the application of these two methods was analyzed with examples.To adopt the two methods can avoid rubbing fault between rotor and steam seal and weaken bearing bush vibration during unit startup and operation after overhaul, and the unit efficiency can be improved.

    Abstract:In commissioning process of unit No. 4 of Guangdong Yudean Jinghai Power Generation Company Limited, it was found that under high unit load,the vibration of the shafts No. 1 and No. 2 suddenly increased. Considering related vibration parameters, it confirmed that steam flowexcited vibration occurred.In the original valve control logic of the steam turbine DEH system, the main control valve CV4 and the last control valve CV1 were exchanged, so the inlet steam distribution of upper and lower parts of the turbine cylinder was changedand the steam flowexcited vibration was restrained. After adjustment,the vibration of shafts No. 1 and No. 2 is about 40 μm during normal operation, and favorable result was obtained.

    Abstract:aiming at the problem of lower efficiency of a 300 mw boiler, some experiments were carried out, which include the boiler efficiency test, the draft fan efficiency test,he experiment of air leakage rate of the air preheater, the oxygen meter calibration test and the oxygen fileld calibration test.finally, the reason of lower boiler efficiency is that the indicated value of the oxygen meter in inlet of the air preheater was lower than the true value. The operation oxygen was reduced to 1. 14 % ,the boiler operation efficiency raised by 0. 52 percentage, the house power consumption rate reduced by 0. 34 percentage, and the coal consumption rate reduced by 2. 7 g/( kw· h) .
