    Simulation research on imbalance fault in the rotor of variablespeed constantfrequency wind turbine

    There are disadvantages in the diagnotic method of wind rotor imbalance fault based on the vibration signal, which are in great demands for sensors, of high cost and poor reliability. Matlab and Simulink are used to build the models of units under normal and unbalanced conditions respectively. Taken the second wind speed data measured in a real wind farm as simulation input, output power is obtained. Results of frequency domain analysis indicates that output power signals of wind rotor includes first frequency component during imbalance fault. After empirical mode decomposition (EMD), output power contains different energy values in different frequency bands. The amplitude of first frequency component and the EMD energy entropies are used as the evidence of fault. Relationship between fault severity and two evidences mentioned above are obtained by numerical fitting ,which realizes the fault diagnosis without requirements for expensive sensors.

    Local compensation for reactive power of asynchronous motors is an economical and efficient power factor compensation method. It introduces the principle of compensation for motors and current calculation method of compensation capacity. Taking a YKK7104 high voltage primary air fan of a power station as the prototype, the Matlab simulation is carried out under the condition different load factor. If highvoltage motors are in light load, the compensation of motor that is calculated according to rated capacity performs poor. It puts forward a compensation capacity fitting method based on the optimum compensation data. Based on the Matlab toolkit which provides nonlinear fitting data, the optimum experimental data are processed .The error rates of fitting curve of compensation capacity and load rate are less than 1%. The fitting curves of compensation capacity at 30%, 50%, 70% and 90% working load are verified. The fitting curves at 35% and 75% load rates are also verified. The compensation results obtained in the experiment reach 94%~95% of the requirements, which proves that this method can give a more accurate compensation to a specific motor under different load rates in the practice.

    For the purpose of deepening SIS data applications, brief introduction of automatic regulation loops applied on online evaluation system is given. The software and hardware environment required by the evaluation system is put forward. The certainty evaluation index is analyzed and certainty evaluation results of the loop are given. Randomness evaluation index based on minimum variance control is analyzed and randomness evaluation results of the loop are given. Model identification and parameters optimization principles of the control loops are summarized and the results are given. The analysis and statistics of AGC and primary frequency regulation, as well as other statistics reporting functions are introduced. Putting the online evaluation system of automatic regulation loops into use has great practical meaning to optimization, administration and maintenance of thermal power plants.

    Prediction is made mainly according to the load generated by charging of various types of electric vehicles in group. Based on the current state of the development of China’s electric vehicles, electric vehicles are divided into four categories on the basis of purpose which are electric buses, electric taxis, electric official cars and electric private cars.Different types of electric vehicles have different charging characteristics, charging methods and charging time. The initial state of charge (SOC) and the initial charge time are extracted by using the Monte Carlo simulation method. The charge loads of four types of electric vehicles are calculated and the corresponding load characteristic curve is simulated in C++ language, where then overall load curve is obtained. By analyzing the characteristics of the load curve, the overall trend of electric vehicle charging load in the future is obtained, which will provide guidance for the rapid development and construction of electric vehicle.

    After the operation of the #2 boiler in a power plant, tube explosion caused by oxide scale clogging at final superheater has occurred many times. The explosion part of tube is analyzed and found to have regular deviation. Through investigation, the main reason for the deviation is improper pouring of thermal insulation castable material. It will lead to a change in the smoke flow field and the formation of flue gas corridor caused by central ash. By modifying the structure of the thermal insulation castable, the problem of ash accumulation and flue gas corridor in the central part is solved, and the hidden danger of the explosion tube can be eliminated.

    It analyzes an accident due to the disconnected point of zerosequence CT circuit of a main transformer on the power plant side. When a singlephase ground fault occurs outside the grid side zone, it leads to a utility variable ratio differential protection. It reveals that if there is disconnected point in a zerosequence CT secondary side, the induced secondary high voltage may affect the adjacent AC sampling loop. Analyzing the typical wave characters of this accident, specific preventive measures are put forward as references for the unknown accident.

    A 630MW coalfired power station adopts lean coal as design coal. The lean coal are combusted with coal of similar qualities in the long term after being put into production and the blended coal quality varied greatly from its design quality.     Taking the warm startup failure of an S109FA gas steam combined cycle units made by an American company, GE, as an example, the reasons for temperature difference between top and bottom of high and middle pressure cylinder arranged in system is analyzed after the stop of the steam turbine. By shutting down, breaking the vacuum , stopping shaft seal and then close the high/middle pressure diverging valve, the temperature difference between top and bottom of high and middle pressure cylinder can be reduced, which can avoid the startup failure caused by upper and lower cylinder temperature difference.

    In order to study the actual operation effect of the pulse power supply, the power supply parameters of the pulse power supply in actual operation are analyzed. When the precipitators are powered by the pulse power supply, the dust emission concentration at outlet are reduced by 50% or so. The pulse power supply also have a good control on PM2.5. During the operation of pulse power supply, it can effectively reduce the secondary current and increase the effective secondary total voltage. It also has a better energysaving effect and improves the removal of fine dust. Thus, the pulse power supply can be used as an effective measure for fine dust and PM2.5 removal.

    Goupitan Power Plant which is run by Wujiang Hydropower Development Company Limited. has experienced a high faulty rate on oil pressure equipment of speed regulation system after starting up.Because of multiple leakages, oil pump vibration, abnormal loading/unloading condition of oil pump and unreasonable operation mode of oil pump, it cannot meet the requirement of economic operation. According to the situation above, improvement is made from the equipment sealing transformation and control procedure optimization. It greatly improves the economic efficiency of the oil pressure device, and completely avoids the leakage caused by the defect of equipment, which has certain promotion value.

    During the debugging of the 660MW singleseries unit of Ningxia Guohua Ningdong Power Generation Company Limited, the temperature of the bearing of the primary fan motor is high and there is a risk of forced shutdown. Checking the bearing at the motor drive end after the shutdown, it was found that the bearing wear was serious and the assembly clearance of the bearing was unreasonable. Adjusting the gap between the bearings edges, adjusting the coaxial degree between the pressure packing cover and the shaft, and increase the diameter of the fuel charging throttle valve plate, can effectively eliminate the phenomenon of the motor bearing high temperature, which ensures the safe and stable operation of unit.

    The transformation of desulfurization equipment of thermal power unit is becoming more and more urgent for the problem of substandard emission concentration from the most power plants. The feasible transformation scheme of 2×600MW supercritical units’ desulphurization device of a coalfired power plant is analyzed and studied. Based on desulfurization efficiency experiment, two schemes which are twin tower double circulation and single tower are proposed. Technological and economic analyze of these two schemes are made and compared. Meanwhile, by comprehensively considering the influence factors, such as technology risk, transforming difficulty, transformation period, site area and project investment, twin tower modification scheme is identified as a more suitable scheme. It provided reference for the transformation of the denitrification device for domestic thermal power unit in the future.

    In order to improve the efficiency of pipe blowing of heat recovery steam generator and enhance the safety of pipe blowing, a threestage energystorage and depressurization technique is put forward and practiced. The technique can be used to blow the high pressure system associated with medium pressure system, and separated from low pressure system, which ensures the effect of the pipe blowing, and improves the efficiency of the heat recovery steam generator. By reducing the exhaust temperature of the gas turbine, heating rate of heat recovery steam generator is optimized to solve the problem of water hammer in pipes at the initial stage of ignition. Increasing the temperature of exhaust smoke before the formal pipe blowing  can improve the steam parameters, and decrease the fuel consumption and time of blowing process. The results of targeted acceptance show that the pipe blowing works well in the steam system of boilers, and the process of pipe blowing is safe and efficient. Relevant experience can be used as reference for subsequent similar units.
