    Energysaving reformation of excitation brush holder of generator in domestic 600MW unit

    Due to that the structure of the brush holder is not designed rationally, the effective usable part of the carbon brush is very little, and the daily maintenance work of the generator excitation carbon brush increases. The design and installation of the carbon brush of several manufactures and the practical use effects in enduser site were investigated and compared. Combining with the trial use status of the carbon brush in Baotou Power Generation Branch of Huadian Inner Mongolia Energy Company Limited, an energysaving reformation scheme of the brush holder was selected finally, in which the plugin constant pressure brush holder with double controlled and detachable springs wasadopted. After the reformation, favorable energysaving effect was obtained.

    The attemperating water system is not designed in the inlet of the separated platen superheater of the 600MW supercritical boiler manufactured in Shanghai Boiler Works Corporation Limited. At the initial startup stage of the boiler, due to the plasma ignition and the larger heat loss of the boiler in wetstate operation stage, the steam temperature in outlet of the separated platen superheater is easily exceeded the limit. Aiming at this problem, based on analysis and site practice, the effective method to control the outlet steam temperature was found.

    Along with increase of design of underground structures with large size, the difficulties of deep foundation pit excavation and dewatering are increased. In the 2×1000MW aircooled unit of Huadian Ningxia Lingwu Power Generation Company Limited project phase II, the depth of the foundation pit of wagon tipper room is about -16.00m. In the foundation pit dewatering construction for this area, the annular tube well dewatering technology was adopted. After the implementation of the dewatering construction, the ground water level is lowered obviously; and the consolidation of the soil body of excavated foundation pit was favorable and can satisfy the design requirement. The implementation of this technology provides some experiences for structure foundation pit dewatering in soft soil area with larger pit depth, rich ground water and higher ground water level.

    The time synchronization for the smart grid must have high accuracy and high safety. According to this requirement, a time synchronization scheme for smart grid was given. In this scheme, the power system time synchronization technology, in which the Beidou/GPS dual mode timing and the protocol IEEE1588 are combined, was adopted. According to the differences of operation mode and desired timing accuracy, different time synchronization configuration schemes suitable for the master station and suitable for substations were given respectively. Then the time synchronization of whole smart grid was realized.

The application results of the Quantum PLC control system and the upper level configuration software IFIX in Henan Luoyang Wanji Power Plant show that based on ensuring of the system realtime and stability, a stable, reliable and rational control system had been built, the project cost was reduced effectively, and favorable results were obtained.

Due to collision and friction, the balancing sleeve of the feed pump had dropped; and this caused the throughflow of the pump interrupt; so a serious thrust bearing overburning accident had occurred.     Micrositting is the key link of wind power generation technology, and it relates to the operation benefit of wind farm directly. Under the condition of complex terrain, the investment for road and power transmission line will be larger; it must be considered to get optimal comprehensive indicators, such as the electricity generating capacity, the investment benefit and etc. In current micro sitting softwares, the principle of wind turbine location is to get maximum electricity generation only. However, some other influencing factors, such as the turbulence intensity, the inflow angle, the comprehensive cost and the economic benefit, must be considered. Taking the micro sitting scheme of a wind farm in complex terrain as example, the fast investment estimation and costbenefit model was established. By using the model, sevoral schemes were compared and analyzed, and an optimal scheme was determined finally. By this example, the practical applicability of the model was verified.
