    The faults were occurred frequently in operation of electric roller of bucket wheel reclaimer. The problems were analyzed. A reformation method for roller driving part (the motor, the decelerating drive gear and the control part) was put forward. After the electric roller of the bucket wheel reclaimer had been reformed, the problem of frequent damage of the electric roller was solved; the service life of the roller was lengthened; the maintenance load was decreased; and favorable effect was obtained.

Combining with the practice of a power generation enterprise, the main problems occurred in pulverization system were analyzed. Aiming at the problems, the relevant countermeasures were put forward.     In the 660MW unit of Huadian Xinxiang Power Generation Company Limited, the fuel measurement was inaccurate; and in startup and stop processes of the mill, there was larger deviation between the air flow in accordance with the unit capacity and the fuel quantity actually fed into the furnace. These problems caused larger disturbance for coordination control system. By using the soft sensor technology and the modeling method, the automatic fuel control system was optimized, and better effect was obtained.

    The layout form of the steam discharging pipe and the discharge process were introduced. The thermodynamic calculation methods of opentype and closedtype discharge systems were expounded emphatically. Based on the calculation method recommended in ASME B31.1, the methods specified in code for piping design of steam turbine were adopted to solve the critical mass volume ratio. The combining of the two calculation methods can give high calculation accuracy, better operability and obvious effects in practical application.

    There are two basic blended coal combustion modes, one of them is premixed combustion, and the other is separately milled layered combustion. Taking a 600MW supercritical boiler as example, the experiments of premixed combustion and separately milled layered combustion were carried out. The experiment results show that when the soft coal ratio is lesser, the premixed combustion mode is more simple and practical, and when the soft coal ratio is larger, to adopt the separately milled layered combustion mode can obtain better result.

    The setting calculation of the overexcitation protection for generatortransformer unit must be based on the tolerance of the generator and the transformer to the overexcitation. The settings must be matched up with U*-f* limit curve of the excitation system; it must be adjusted in accordance with the backup protection of U*-f* limit component of generator field regulator. According to the analyses of overexcitation curve of the 680MW generator and transformer in Hubei Xisaishan Power Generation Corporation Limited and the U*-f* limit curve of ABB excitation system, the responding value of overexcitation protection and the actuation time were analyzed and calculated concretely.

After the effective measures were adopted, the suddenly opening of the mediumpressure regulating valve was not occurred again. 

    In direct aircooling unit, the backpressure is higher; the cooling capability of the condenser is affected greatly by external environment. In summer, when the dry bulb temperature is higher, the higher wind speed and higher temperature influence on the fans and the radiators, and their efficiency will reduce; the generation efficiency of the unit will be affected. Based on analysis, it was considered that to adopt some measures, such as to increase the unit fully generating backpressure, to configure the cooling area of aircooling system rationally, to stop the high pressure heater without accident, to spray water mist on external surface of the radiators and others, can increase the ability to spend summer of the direct aircooling unit; which is helpful for ensuring the power grid safety and full generation of the turbine, and the generation efficiency of the unit will be raised.

    The rapid development of digital image processing and recognition technology provides good opportunity for automation of online monitoring system of the power system. Whether the electric power equipments operate normally is very important for safe and reliable operation of the system. Based on automatic recognition and analysis functions of the computers, using the image processing and recognition technology, combining with several methods, such as the method of OTSU for threshold selection, the SSDA for recognition and the FD for judgment, the online monitoring of electric power equipments was realized. The traditional manual inspection was replaced by this system, and the efficiency was improved. The advantages of various technologies had been integrated in this image recognition technology, so its processing result is more accurate.

    In order to solve the corrosion and scaling problems of condenser′s copper tubes, aiming at the corrosion pits and sediment, the element analysis was done; several experiments, such as the reagent detection, the corrosion coupon, the silt abrasion and antiscaling, were carried out. A conclusion was obtained that the comprehensive affect of silt abrasion, the corrosion behind scaling, the bed operation condition and others led the corrosion and scaling of the copper tubes. According to the diagnosis suggestion, some corrosion slowing and antiscaling measures, such as coating film on tubes plate, water quality control and improvement of reagent adding process, were adopted; and the faults were eliminated.

The air formed air resistance, which caused that the output of the oil pump was disappeared and the bushburning accident of the turbine occurred. The accident was introduced.     Taking the main current MW stage doublefed wind generator unit as research object, according to the operation characteristics and distribution features of various parts, the structure features and configuration and application of the current domestic and foreign master control systems of the wind turbines were analyzed synthetically. Based on this, a solution of control system, which is equipment oriented and drawing configurable, was proposed. The control characteristics of the DCS for thermal power generation were blended into this solution. The controller hardware platform was developed independently, which can satisfy new requirements of the unit control system.
