    By using the existing research result of visual three dimensional furnace temperature field, the radiant energy signal in furnace, as a middle controlled variable, had been introduced and used to form a cascade control system. The genetic algorithm was adopted to optimize the fuzzy controller, and its control strategy was applied in the steam pressure control subsystem of the combustion control system. The simulation experiment was carried out, and the result verified the feasibility of the algorithm.

    The oil feed pump and fuel oil system of the ultrasupercritical boiler in Huadian International Zouxian Power Plant project phase IV were put in operation in 2007. Since then some faults were occurred which includes the frequent oil leakage of oil gun, the higher returnedoil temperature of oil feed system, jam of oil gun and ignition rod and etc. The reasons of these faults were analyzed from system location, structure of equipment, design, installation, operation, maintenance and other aspects. Combining with the experience obtained from accomplished improvement and reformation, some preventive measures and proposals were put forward.

    The basic function of the gas turbine exhaust temperature dispersity monitor system was introduced. Taking the DLN2.0+ combustion chamber as example, the importance of the exhaust temperature dispersity monitoring and protection function for the gas turbine was explained. The formation mechanism of bulging and cracking of combustor inner liner and his influence on gas turbine exhaust temperature dispersity was analyzed. Some relevant measures were proposed to prevent the components in heat passage from hurt due to combustion deterioration.

    The Aphase grounding fault of 110kV Qiahe No.1 line in Qiafuqihai Hydropower Station of Xinjiang Ili River Basin Development and Construction Administrative Bureau was occurred. After that, the line protection acted correctly, but Aphase breaker rejected to trip, the local backup protection (bus) rejected to act, and remote backup protection acted and caused accident scope expansion. The accident field operators considered the problems unilaterally, and this leaded trial power transmission to be failure and the accident scope to expand once again. The reason of the accident was analyzed. According to the concrete condition after protection action, and according to the protection and fault record message, a scientific decision was got, and the accident expansion was avoided.

    Along with the development of science and technology, modern control systems become more complex, traditional control methods is no longer suitable for the requirement of production. According to the analysis of fuzzy controller, a PLC based control method combining the fuzzy control and traditional control was put forward, and a digital controller with adaptation function was designed. Theoretical analysis and simulation result indicate that the controller is simple and has wide application prospect.

    The floating debris obstructing row is placed on the water inlet of a hydropower station. It is floating on the water surface and rising or falling along with waterlevel fluctuation. It is used to obstruct the floating objects with size larger than certain specification. Two engineering practical examples of floating debris obstructing row (floating trash rack), which are obviously different in structure, were introduced. Based on the examples, a new envisage of floating debris obstructing row, which would adopt the floating box structure, were put forward.

    The condensate boost pump had been reformed by using of variable frequency speed control technology. After the reformation, the automatic control of the level of oxygen extractor was realized on DCS system. The difference between its reformed automatic adjustment circuit and original one was analyzed. Based on strict discussion of scheme design, the technical safety measures had been compiled, and the measures were implemented when the unit was overhaul or current repair, and the later debug was carried out, then the variable frequency automation had been put operation successfully. The results show that adopting the variable frequency controlled devices in the main auxiliaries of power plant with rational designed adjustment automatic circuit could ensure the reliability and safety of the unit operation to be not reduced, and this reformation has advantage of less input and quick results, and has active effects for energysaving and reducing the house service consumption rate.

    The second air flow of the power plant boiler is about 70% of boiler total air flow. Therefore, the secondary air flow must be measured accurately to obtain good adjustment quality of draft air and boiler automation. The original secondary air flow measurement device of No.8 unit of Guangzhou Hengyun Power Plant was unable to meet the measurement and control requirement, and it had been replaced by FLII type air flow measurement device with soot selfcleaning and antiblockage function at the unit overhaul. Then accurate measurement of secondary air flow was realized, and draft air and boiler automation were well put into operation, and the maintenance became easy.

    The reverse osmosis water treatment technology is the most advanced, energysaving and environment protecting separation technology today. The principle is that under the pressure higher than the solution infiltrating pressure, the semipermeable membrane will allow the water to pass and prevent other materials to pass, and by using this selection feature of semipermeable membrane, the solute and solvent can be separated. Utilizing the filtering features of semipermeable membrane, the dissolved salt, colloid, organic matter, germ and some other impurity can be efficiently removed from water. This technology has advantages of lower energy consumption, pollution free, advantageous technology, simple for operation and maintenance and so on. The economical efficiency of the reverse osmosis water treatment technology applied in boiler make up water treatment system of Huadian Fularji General Power Plant of China Huadian Corporation and that of the traditional ion exchange desalination water treatment system were compared, the principle and application advantage of the reverse osmosis water treatment technology were expounded.
