    The electromagnetic loop operation means that the lines with different voltage classes operate parallel which connected together through the electromagnetic circuit by using transformers in the two terminal. The problems existing in the electromagnetic loop operation were analyzed. A series of rules for electromagnetic loop opening was put forward which includes static stability, dynamic stability and economic efficiency etc. The concrete application of synthetical, multilayer fuzzy evaluation method was introduced. The author believes that the electromagnetic loop opening scheme based on synthetical, multilayer fuzzy evaluation is feasible and has practical significance.

    The transformer lifespan depends on its winding temperature. The winding temperature has decisive function to insulating material temperature aging, therefore, the winding temperature measurement devices are allocated in large and medium transformer. The principle of thermometer for transformer winding was presented. The supervisory instrument must be reliable, the over temperature of transformer winding and over tolerance of supervisory instrument will influence the transformer normal operation. The matters needing attention in using of thermometer for winding were expounded.

    The synchronous phasor measurement unit(PMU) configuration causing state estimation partition decoupling was studied, a partition coupled state estimation model was established in which the PMU was introduced. By using the voltage measurement of PMU, a whole electric power system is partitioned to several sub-system nets for state estimation respectively, and there are not data exchange between the sub-systems. The branch current phasors of PMU can be transformed into relevant node voltage phasors or relevant branch tidal current, the accuracy and redundancy of measurement data are increased, and the performance of state estimation is raised. The simulation arming at IEEE30 node calculation example shows that when the PMU measurement accuracy is higher, the accuracy and speed of partition decoupled state estimation model was increased compared with that of the routine model using PMU. Along with the increase of partition and the applicaton of computer parallel processing technique, the real time state estimation of electric power system will be possible.

    A novel algorithm of SVPWM was proposed according to the analysis of SVPWM essence. The algorithm obtains the vector action time by calculation directly without complex coordination transformation and sectors deciding. Compared with traditional SVPWM algorithm, the new algorithm can reduce calculating amount obviously, and this is useful for digital programming. The calculating formulas of new algorithm were derived, and the simulation study was accomplished under the Matlab/Simulink environment. The result of simulation proves that the new algorithm is correct and effective.

    The feasibility of applying ultrasonic guided waves in detection of power boiler main steam pipe was discussed. The proper guided wave mode was selected for experiment. The experimental result shows that the detection of main steam pipe applying ultrasonic guided waves is feasible. In the experiment, the notch with depth of 1.5mm and width of 0.2mm in inner surface and outer surface of a pipe were detected, and the detection was much faster than traditional point-by-point detection method.

    The Dam of Kuaizehe Hydro-power Station is single-curved, high arch cast-on place concrete dam. The temperature inside the dam body will raise due to the concrete hydration heat. Under certain constraint condition, the greater expansion stress will occur due to the higher temperature, and this lead to create the crack in concrete, the dam engineering quality will be influenced. In this paper, the dam concrete temperature field was calculated and analyzed in detail, and relevant concrete temperature control measures were proposed.

    In order to decrease the operation power consumption of electro-static precipitator and to further raise the dust collecting efficiency, the original control system of electro-static precipitator in Wangting Power Plant unit No.11 was overall technically reformed by using “Energy-saving and Effect-raising type EP Power Supply and Control System”. After the reformation, the dust collecting power decreases by a factor of 81.2%, average dust collecting efficiency increases by a factor of 0.29%, and dust discharge amount at outlet decreases by a factor of 28.9%, so an obvious energy-saving and effect-raising result is obtained, and the operation automation level of electro-static precipitator is raised also. This affords useful experience for similar projects.

    The hydrogen purity of unit №3 in Huadian Zhangqiu Power Generation Corporation Limited was decreasing faster, and this caused that the hydrogen inside generator must be purified frequently. The problems mentioned above were analyzed, some relevant measures were adopted, and the sealing oil system was adjusted using running and shut-down opportunity. Then the problem of hydrogen purity decrease was resolved finally, and unit safety, stable operation was achieved.

Through the comparison with principles of common tripping circuit supervisors, domestic and abroad, take the tripping circuit supervisors of 500KV switch and generator switch as examples, the working principle and defect of the device at different conditions were analyzed in detail.     The sulfur dioxide emissions of circulating fluidized bed boiler, in which the poor-grade coal with high sulfur and low heat value was burned and different desulfurization methods were adopted, were calculated and compared. The desulfurization combustion calculation of CFB boiler and sulfur dioxide emission of desulfurization outside the boiler were combined and analyzed. The calculations shows that when the process of inside boiler desulfurization combining with outside boiler desulfurization is adopted, the CFB boiler can burn poor-grade coal with high sulfur and can satisfy environment protection demands at the same time.
