    Abstract:Low load operation is a common problem, as an example of affected many large scale building like distributed energy stations. With the distributed energy station in Huadian Industrial Park chosen as a typical case were analyzed, we studied the causes and potential impacts of low load operation, and then proposed resolution plan form the aspects of main machine selection, system designing, operation and management etc., serving as a reference for similar projects.

    Abstract:At present, in many power plants, the operation mode of the water circulating pumps is not very reasonable, and the economic efficiency of the units was affected. The startup and shutdown data of the water circulating pump under conditions of different load and different circulating water temperature were analyzed. Using the consumption analysis method, the optimized operation mode of the water circulating pump was found, which can be used as reference for energy conservation and consumption reduction in power plants.

    Abstract:The Hunan Huadian Changsha Power Generation Company Limited had a try to use the double ended ball mill to mill the blended coal, in which the Indonesia lignite with low calorific value and high volatiles was mixed by certain ratio. A process of “to mill different coal by different mill separately and to mix and burn the different pulverized coals in furnace” was adopted. The system application features, which include how to control the explosion of the coal pulverizing system, how to ensure safety of the persons and equipments and how to prevent cooking in the boiler, were investigated. In order to improve the economic efficiency of the blended lignite combustion and to standardize the operation mode, according to actual conditions, the separately mill process, the blended mill process and the blended ratio were tested and compared with each other. The test results show that to adopt the process of “to mill different coal by different mill separately and to mix and burn the different pulverized coals in the furnace” to burn the lignite is feasible.

    Abstract:According to the characteristics of cylindrical pipe, a pipe suitable for preventing particle deposition in leadbismuth eutectic (LBE), which is used as the coolant in nuclear reactor, is proposed. With the help of thermophoresis model, the deposition prevention capacity of the pipe under different temperature difference and different particle size was calculated respectively. The calculation shows that the antideposition capacity of the pipe increases alone with increase of temperature difference between the pipe surface and the coolant, and the antideposition capacity of the pipe decreases alone with increase of diameter of the particulate matter. The temperature difference influences on the antideposition capacity more greatly than the particle size. Using the pipe, the fine particle deposition in LBE on pipe wall will decreases, the flowing property and the heat transfer performance of LBE can be improved.

    Abstract:There were defects in the mill of Ningxia Jingneng Ningdong Power Generation Company Limited, which include the larger resistance, the poor uniformity of the pulverized coal, the insufficient output and others. It is needed to reform the mill separator to solve above problems. Combining with the features of the mill separator, the parameters of the mill separator before and after reformation, such as the fineness of the pulverized coal, the uniformity index, the power consumption of the mill and others, were compared. The feasibility of the mill separator reformation was analyzed. After the mill separator was reformed, better result was obtained.

    Abstract:In the vacuum oil purifier, the bubbles occur easily and cause the oil leakage accident. The reasons of oil leakage accident were analyzed. The insufficient of the existing oil leakage preventing measures was expounded. The basic principle of the new centrifugal flash dehydration technology was described briefly. The experiment proved that by the new technology, the fast dehydration can be realized, the oil and the gas can be separated thoroughly, and the bubble problem of the vacuum oil purifier can be solved. So the oil leakage accident potential was eliminated.

    Abstract:The present flow adjusting method is mostly throttling, and due to the output power of the motor can not be adjusted in large range, there is large energy dissipation in this method. The variable frequency reformation of the auxiliary machines is one of main means of power plants to save energy and reduce consumption. The AC variable frequency speed control technology is acknowledged as a most valuable speed control and power consumption reducing technology due to its excellent speed control function and remarkable energysaving effect. Combing with the application of the variable frequency speed control technology in condensate pump of 2×150MW unit of the Panzhihua Branch of Huadian Sichuan Power Generation Company Limited and the analysis on obtained energysaving effect, the function of the variable frequency speed control technology in energysaving and consumption reducing of thermal power enterprises was expounded further.

    Abstract:In order to achieve the goals of energy saving and consumption reducing of circulating water pump, in Hubei Xisaishan Power Generation Company Limited, a communication valve was added between the circulating water systems of two units.     Abstract:The security and stability of the power system are always the main objectives of the system operation. In order to ensure the power grid errorfree operation, the realtime error correcting and checking has become a key requirement. In “large operation” support system, the highsoon realtime database is used as information storage stack to record the operation status of the equipments realtime, and the wiring diagram error correcting and checking system is used to detect the faults immediately and reduce the error probability. Simultaneously, the system can provide realtime error information early warning and auxiliary judgment, which are helpful for power grid dispatchers to improve the correctness of fault information judgment.

    Abstract:In order to meet the information transmission demand of smart grid and to ensure the massage transmission between the master station and substations of power grid to be “no omissions and no additional” as far as possible, the defects of the intelligent gateway in double main gateways operation mode were analyzed, and a logical channel redundant scheme, in which the two intelligent gateways in the substation operate in “standalone mode for lower layer and mainstandby mode for upper layer”, was proposed. The implementation mechanism of the scheme was analyzed briefly. The mainstandby mechanism between main station and substations was normalized. The reliability and the veracity of the electric power information transmission were improved.

    Abstract:The important position of the shale gas in global energy resources was introduced. Considering the downstream comprehensive utilization, depending on the comparison with centralized transmission technology by pipeline and liquefied natural gas (LNG) technology, the significance of the GTL (gas to liquid) technology was pointed out, and two ways to produce specialty oil using shale gas of GTL technology were described.     Abstract:In the 1000MW boiler of Huadian International Zouxian Power Plant, due to the restriction of the air and flue system structure design and the own measuring conditions of the dynamic pressure measuring device, it is difficult to measure the spout air speed of the boiler combustion system correctly. So the spout air speed of the primary air of the boiler could not be monitored correctly, and the pulverized coal combustion condition in the furnace could not be monitored effectively. The online air and pulverized coal monitoring system of the 1000MW boiler was reformed.     Abstract:In the SCR system, the nonuniformity of the ammonia spraying and the shorter catalyst life cause the local ammonia spaying in inlet to be too much, and this leads to higher ammonia escape rate and lower deNOx efficiency. The ammonia spraying device of the SCR system of the 1036MW unit in Huaneng Haimen Power Plant was reformed. The experiment of ammonia spraying optimized adjustment for the inlet ammonia injection grid was carried out. After the optimized adjustment, the distribution uniformity of NOx in SCR system outlet was improved, and the influence of the higher local ammonia escape rate on downstream air preheater was controlled effectively. Then better result was obtained.

    Abstract:The corrosion property of wet stack and selection of anticorrosion material were discussed. Based on the experiment, the anticorrosion property, the mechanical property and the welding performance of the superaustenitic stainless steel XDS5, which is used as special anticorrosion lining of wet stack, were analyzed. The analysis result shows that XDS5 is an excellent material for anticorrosion lining of wet stack. At last, the thin plate pasting process was introduced. The widespread application of alloy in wet stack and even whole wet FGD system is useful for stability and reliability of the system operation, and the life cycle costs of the equipments can be reduced.

    Abstract:In order to prevent dew formation in flue gas, the air temperature in outlet of sealing air fan in FGD system must not be lower than 100℃, and the electric heater must run continuously, which consumes a lot of electric energy. In order to save energy and reduce consumption and reduce the operation cost of FGD system, the electric heater for damper sealing air was reformed in Xinjiang Huadian Hongyanchi Power Plant. The steam source of auxiliary service steam with poor quality was used to heat the sealing air, and the electric heater was replaced. A lot of fund can be saved in year due to this reformation.
