    Thermal performance analysis of 600MW subcritical W flame boiler and its transformation

    Abstract:Some problems occurred during the operation of a certain 600MW subcritical Wflame boiler, such as the higher attemperating water volume of boiler superheater, lower steam temperature of reheater and overtemperature of exhaust gas,etc.,which were compared with the design values.Through analyzing, it was discovered that main reasons of the problems are the structure characteristics of the boiler and the variation of coal quality.In addition,the heating surface transformation scheme was confirmed and evaluated by thermal performance checking calculation. After the transformation,the operation economy of the unit was improved on the basis of reliability.

    Abstract:After the experimental study of to increase pulverizor outlet powder temperature on a power plants 300MW coal fired unit.This paper analyzed the effect of increasing pulverizer outlet powder temperature to boiler combustion,unit economy and safety.The experiment result indicated that to increase the powder temperature from 82 to 90,the operating parameter was not changed significantly, but the exhaust temperature was lower by four degrees celsius,coal cost lower by 0.89g/(kW·h).Which is remarkable on economic benefits.To increase pulverizer outlet powder temperature is low cost but would create extra economic benefits and saving energy.

    Abstract:According to the delay characteristic of deaerator liquid level control system and flow disturbance of deaerator inlet and outlet,with the
    advantages combined with single pulse and three impulse,this paper brings a single pulse combining three impulse strategy that based on the single of deaerator liquid level and the single of deaerator inflow and outflow volume serving as basis of material balance.It also brings about the method of regulating valve output control based on control mode and switching method of different load and main condensation water.This control strategy overcomes delay and disturb problem in the system and remake the balance between quick response time after load changing and low overshoot.The control effect is superior to the single pulse method which only lie on liquid level singnal.

    Abstract:This paper introduced the characteristics of ultrafiltration technology,compared the membrane component parameters,construction cost and operating cost of pressure type ultrafiltration system and immersion ultrafiltration system combining a certain water purification plant in Luohe,and confirmed that the pressure type ultrafiltration system could maintain higher membrane flux operation for a long time,which carries more technical and economic advantages than the immersion ultrafiltration system.At the end of this paper,the authors pointed out that the ferric salt coagulants are preferred and the residual volumes of discharged coagulants and coagulant aids from precipitation tank should be strictly controlled in the water purification plant,which adopts the new type shortened flow process of coagulative precipitation + ultrafiltration.

    Abstract:The calculation formula for optimum ventilation in fired power plants pulverzer are “computing power plants milling system technical
    requirements” in accordance with DL/T 5145—2002.The accurate operation guidance can not be given as a result of imports ventilation measuring points and blending Blending Hardness of mill. The formula for calculating the above criteria is simplified and the milling system effectively reduces the loss on the basis of accuracy.A comprehensive and simplified error analysis are conducted.

    Abstract:In order to realize the automatic sequence control of air cooling system for a certain gas steam combined cycle power plant in Malaysia,the sequence start up and sequence shutdown functions for the air cooling system were designed according to the unit condition, which based on the analysis of design parameters and the control system configuration of air cooling system.In addition,a dedicated back pressure adjusting system for air cooling condenser was designed in order to ensure the safe operation of unit.Since the adoption of sequence control mode for air cooling system,the automation level of the unit was improved and the labor intensity of operating staff was reduced.

    Abstract:In order to solve the high thermal loss problem of steam turbine for Jiangsu Huadian Yangzhou Power Generation Company Limited, the steam seal clearances of high and middle pressure cylinder body parts are readjusted.This paper analyzed the forming reasons of cylinder sagging and its influence to the adjustment of steam seal clearances.After remeasuring the values of sagging,the adjustment values of steam seal clearances of high/medium pressure cylinder are confirmed. At last,this paper proposed an adjustment method for the upper part of the steam seal clearance under the half casing condition.After the adjustment,the thermal loss of unit reduced to 7899kJ/(kW·h).

    Abstract:For the current situation of using pure gas turbine in Jiangsu Huadian Qishuyan Power Generation Company Limited,a low temperature ethylene diamine tetraacetic acid (EDTA) cleaning for the boiler was adopted.This paper details the cleaning process of EDTA,which the cleaning and passivation processes are completed at one time.The cleaning process of EDTA could significantly reduce the emission of waste water and shorten the cleaning time and meanwhile the cleaning effect is good. At last,the paper pointed out the problems that should be concerned in the cleaning process.

    Abstract:Along with the increased environmental protection efforts,a large number of construction projects are put into heat supply in recent years.According to the implementation of heating plant project in Jiangsu Huadian Wangting Power Plant,the background and characteristics of the unit heating mode are analyzed,and such transformation measures as the low pressure communication pipe,induced draft fan and booster fan merger,and four steam extraction are come up with.The data shows the efficiency of the unit and energy efficiency are improved after the transformation through the analysis of energy saving and environmental benefits.

    Abstract:Taking the turbine valve operation of six turbine plants in Sichuan Guangan Power Plant Company Limited as an example,the valve state diagnosis system for steam turbine is designed which is based on DEH internal hardware monitoring and communication technologies, and directly acquires DEH and servo data.The turbine valve performance and condition are judged by programming,analyzing real time and historical data.The state of the turbine valve monitoring,alarm and turbine valve test and maintenance are integrated into the man machine interface,which has a diagnostic accuracy,simplify,facilitate intuitive features.The system are timely diagnosis,accurate,intuitive and economic prominence.

    Abstract:Some problems exist in the operation of the No.1 ultra supercritical boiler of Huadian Laizhou Power Generation Company Limited, such as the large deviation of oxygen on the both sides of boiler,the higher attemperating water volume of reheater,the overtemperature of superheater tube wall and the high temperature corrosion of heating surface,etc.In order to solve these problems,an oxygen optimization and adjustment test of the boiler was conducted.In this paper,a boiler oxygen uniformity adjustment test and variable oxygen volume tests under 950MW and 800MW conditions were conducted,and the optimum operation oxygen volume and critical value of oxygen under different conditions were obtained.After the optimization,the mass fraction of carbon in fly ash and the volume fraction of CO are effectively
    reduced,the problems of overtemperature of superheater tube wall and high temperature corrosion of heating surface are alleviated, which greatly improve the efficiency of the boiler.

    Abstract:This paper introduced the current condition of auxiliary power system of power plant, and analyzed the need to add reactive power compensator for auxiliary power system from the aspect of two sources of the auxiliarypower:one is from the grid and the other is from power plant.Took auxiliary power systems of 600MW and 300MW units as examples,this paper performed a qualitative analysis of the application value of reactive power compensation for auxiliary power system,and pointed out that the reactive power compensation could improve the safety margin of auxiliary power operating voltage,decrease the losses of lines and transformers,reduce the equipment load factor,improve the transmission capacities of lines and transformers,and delay the ageing of equipment.

    Abstract:This paper analyzed the oil seal leakage problem of thrust external circulation pump of Yunnan Huadian Ludila Power Generation Company Limited,and ascertained the leak’s cause is failure of elastic seal. After that,a treatment scheme of replacing the seal with new type one and adding exhaust and lubricating oil pipes on the seal cavity of thrust external circulation pump is proposed in this paper.The practice proved that the improved seal is more safe and reliable.
